Bucklyn Coffee
A great little coffee shop with excellent espresso drinks, beans to take home, and a few very tasty baked goods usually available. They roast their own beans in Brooklin Maine and are an area staple. Tables out front nice spot to sit and sip.
44 North
A roaster with two cafés on Main Street in Deer Isle Village and Stonington Village serving excellent slow pour and drip coffee with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere to sit and relax.
DINING
Roaring Lion Market and Farm
A market and cafe that sits above the family farm, overlooking their pastures. At the market they sell their organically raised Meishan pork, grass fed beef, produce and eggs – as well as many items from other local farms and producers (produce, dairy, bread, flowers, grains, beer, wine etc.) For food they offer breakfast sandwiches on house english muffins with constantly changing toppings from our farm, as well as summer burger nights with our grass fed beef.
Tinderhearth
Wood-fired bakery, cafe and pizza restaurant in the scenic farmland of West Brooksville. Sourdough organic breads, croissants, beautiful local ingredients. Dining in a restored barn and stunning gardens. A must if you're in the area. Reservations for pizza are required in the summer, make sure you check out the specific reservation system on their website as you're planning your trip. The bakery and cafe hours are wonderful as well if youve missed out on a dinner reservation.
Burnt Cove Boil
Burnt Cove Boil sells seafood dinners on picnic tables lining the shore of Burnt Cove in Stonington. Our lobster and crab are landed daily, just feet away on the docks of Fifield Lobster Co. Reservations are needed.

Perrys Lobster Shack
A quintessential Maine lobster shack, this one is on a dock overlooking the water, where their lobster boat docks. Eat some lobster, clams, or mussels and enjoy the view.
Bagaduce Lunch
Another loster shack with a great view overlooking the bagaduce river, this one a little more fast foody.
Brooklin Inn
A nice spot right in the center of the town of Brooklin with outdoor seating in their garden. Reservations needed.

Blue Hill Coop
A cooperatively-owned grocery store that specializes in local & organic foods. They also have a selection of lunch items for a quick to go option for days out and about.
The Blue Hill Wine Shop
Truely one of the greatest wine shops you will encounter with an extensive selection of interesting and delicious wines, imported cheeses, meats, pasta, and other specialty goods. The shop's knowledgeable staff, including the affable Max, are happy to guide customers through their impressive collection. Treat yourself and stop by. Waukeag Neck Oyster's also available for purchase or shuck some days on the porch in the summer, check with current schedule.

A family owned seafood market right in town with anything from lobsters, clams, oysters, mussels, and local fish.
Brooklin General Store
Offers a wide selection of thoughtfully curated products from apothecary and home items to cheeses, beer and wine as well as fresh produce, dry goods, and even gas.

Quills End Farmstand
Local family run dairy with a small farmstore, open dawn to dusk every day at the farm. Stocked up with milk, cheese, cream, and sometimes meats. Taste REAL dairy from a fantastic small farm.
The Crab Lady's Market
The place to get freshly picked Peeky-Toe crabmeat. Just drive to the rear of the building and go right in. There is a refridgerator and payment is on the honor system. Sweet and delish Maine crab!
Rainbow Farm Farmstand
Rainbow Farm is located on a fertile ridge in Orland, adjacent to Penobscot's town line. As you travel Route 15, you may notice chickens enjoying the beautiful green pasture. This farm produces top teir pasture raised beef, lamb, chicken and pork which they sell from their farmstand right on the farm.
